  1. My favorite Podcast is Mike Duncan's "The History of Rome".

It is awesome. I started listening right at the very beginning (years ago) and now we're finally coming to the sack of Rome and the fall of the Western Empire so I'm worried about what will happen afterwards.

For the Brain Food Dude (which I listen to all the time - Thank You for that!) you could check out the episodes on Hannibal (The Second Punic War) or Julius Ceasar. My alltime favorite is the account of Scipio Africanus - the young rock star general who finally defeated Hannibal. Pretty great stuff!

  2. For seasonal heaps of piquant coconut curry for the brain, I turn to The Infinite Monkey Cage. It's the very delectable Prof Brian Cox and his comedian nerd friend Robin Ince hosting panels on popular science and culture. It feels as if Carl Sagan were reanimated into the body of Simon Pegg (but with better hair!). My favorite episode is on science fiction, and well worth the listen.

    Keep up the Brain Food!

  3. I found the David Sedaris podcast about being an elf pretty hilarious and insightful into the lives of store elves. You should definitely listen to it for entertainment
