To the Best of Our Knowledge aired a show called "polar stories" about the north and south pole. My favorite clip was an interview with Lucy Jane Bledsoe, the author of "The Big Bang Symphony: A Novel of Antarctica." Bledsoe's interview is toward the end of the podcast.

ReplyDeleteIt occurred to me with this podcast that Brainfood isn't the best of the week's podcasts. It is your personal favorites. Usually its been great but this podcast clip completely bored me. Probably because I saw a documentary film on the topic and Antartica seemed like a frozen wasteland.
Meanwhile, FreshAir had an eye-opening interview this past week on water. I would definitely have swapped that one in.
